Antipasto skewers

Antipasto Skewers

Serves 4 to 6
Prep time: 10 minutes

10 decorative short skewers
20 thin slices of salami of choice (Milano Salami is recommended)
one 8-ounce ball of buffalo mozzarella, cut into 10 pieces
10 fresh basil leaves 
10 cherry tomatoes

Directions

  1. Create skewers by folding a piece of salami into quarters and placing it on a skewer, followed by a cube of mozzarella, a basil leaf, cherry tomato, and ending with another piece of folded salami. 

  2. Arrange skewers on a platter. You can drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil but if you do, serve with a small plate or napkin.
